Yoga Inversion Workshop

ABOUT

This workshop will explore the dynamics of yoga inversions including: headstand, forearm stand, shoulder stand, and handstand. Our practice will integrate strength building exercises with short yoga sequences that prepare the body & mind to balance upside down! Students will learn fun and creative ways to build up the core & upper body strength necessary to approach these asanas with a stable foundation. Our inversion play-time will emphasize breath connection and healthy alignment. Students will go home with a deeper understanding of how they can safely integrate inversions into their own practice.

This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels. It is recommended that students who attend have at least some practice working with one of the following: headstand, forearm stand, shoulder stand, or handstand.

Get Stronger: Arm Balances

ABOUT

Join me for an afternoon of arm balance practice & play! This workshop will explore the dynamics of arm balancing and teach students how to practice these asanas with breath awareness and healthy alignment.

This workshop will integrate strength building exercises with short yoga sequences that prepare the body & mind for lift off! Students will learn fun and creative ways to build up the core & upper body strength necessary to approach these asanas with a stable foundation.

For each arm balance, we will review step-by-step breakdown of how to safely enter the arm balance— from the most basic approach to more advanced variations.

This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels.
