Fascia is a thin layer of tissue that wraps around every muscle in the body. When muscles are tight, the fascia surrounding the muscle begins to thicken which can lead to myofascial pain, arthritis in the joints and chronic tension. Yoga therapy balls are effective at targeting fascia and restoring the tissues to their normal state of fluidity and mobility. When the tissues are healthy, pain and discomfort are eliminated!
This class will offer 90 minutes of deep tissue massage (with yoga therapy balls) plus gentle, longer Yin stretches. Join us to soothe sore muscles and joints, release tension, and learn to care for your body through the practice of self-massage.
For an added treat, CBD topicals and Glow muscle release oil will be available to enhance the experience! Plus, each attendee will receive a mini therapy ball to take home!
