Arm balances can be challenging, exhilarating, and intimidating! With concentration, patience, and a mindful practice, students of all levels can learn to balance effectively in these incredible asanas. Join me for a two-hour journey of yoga practice, play, laughter, and fun! This workshop will teach students the essential movements and actions required to defy gravity and find lift-off in arm balances. No prior experience required!
Throughout the workshop, students will have an opportunity to explore these stimulating postures one by one with mindfulness and intention. The sequence will allow students to deeply connect with their body, breath, yoga practice, and curiosity. Balance or no balance-- each moment along the journey can help us to discover our innate inner strength, courage, and playfulness.
This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels, including those who:
• Have no experience arm balancing, but are interested in giving it a try
• Have some experience arm balancing and would like to explore these postures in greater detail
• Enjoy arm balancing and would like to take their practice and understanding of these postures to the next level
• Would like to practice yoga, learn something new, and enjoy the journey of self-exploration
